An 'idea' can become repulsive....

We've all being subjected to the horryingly regular sec ads of Idea's now totall exhausted repulsive ad campaign... 'Get Idea' god my hands are actually trembling keying the dreaded statement... its made Abhishek Bachhan intolerable , network untraceable and ads unbearable... who the heck handles idea's account... heck give me a sec .. i definitely need to google this...hmmm. so it seems its 'Lowe' as the first search result reveals - http://www.bestmediainfo.com/2010/11/idea-launches-no-idea-get-idea-campaign/


Well the earlier ads focussed on MNP- Mobile number portability campaign were to the point... but yes the regular placement turned out more like a harassment during tube time... And the icing on the cake was MNP tranforming into NNP- No network permanently...  Now that my strike period was over and I have survived the jatkaas every evening on star world thanks to goddamn idea... strike 2 comes

Few of my favourite cricketers croaking more like tortured to say the exhausted line 'get idea'--- during world cup season.. As Harish Bhat quotes - '

Fighting space is undoubtedly diifcult to capture with the competing brands from versatile fields ...but at the same time what leaves impact is the ad uniqueness - Read the 'brrrrrh' campaign /..very subtle and apt...

Alas what idea idea comes up is to get idea.. and keep cricket clean... hmmmm very predictable.. lets sign up all these big cricketers and make them say the cliche statement.. not working mr.idea not working at all..

No doubt the campaign was successful in recall of the ad (well we techniclaly didnt have any option did we;p)..but at the same time, idea 's become the new butt out joke...

 The 3 g's campaign,... what the heck are idea guys paying Lowe for? Heck if they wanted viewer harrasment i could have made a p.o.a for free... \

Surprisingly ever since these ads have come out i have had more problems with my idea number... no connectivity... low signals in city area...

Are idea guys actually working on these... strong statements ..weak prove.. time to spend on what matters more or the next step .. make idea reach its cutomers.. not just the paid spaces... Get the idea mate? Work on it! The idea will definitely ground itself then.. take example of airtel's new campaign- the song.. beautiful, recallable and not in your face.........audio and visual appeal matters more than excessive brand placement,,,

This idea will deifinitely change your brand sirji;p
