Make the look- Be skin friendly first

Yes, my dear.. Finally I have the guts to not write anonymously ... Bring it on.. thing i love, things i hate.. and things well.. hat i just cant decide on the right emotion for them.. I dare to bear it on the harshly kept keys;p..(thanks to that extra pressure i put on typing hard and fast;p)... Lets begin with a recent article i read on some lady (god knows what her name was..(a celebrity of course) who fainted as a result of attempting to carry off two sizes small gown at the red carpet. What was she thinking? would the love handles well become the screws? or would the bulging out bosom cover or draw attention away from The bulges.. Sigh I fail to understand... In these times, when size zero is sought after.. and well im still living with the size 14 .. you can well imagine how it feels.. yes im envious about the abs, the toned shapes.. but at the same time.. was'nt being health also about being fit - by fit i mean have strength, stamina and making food your friend rather than detesting it... i so dont want to have the anorexic look..  and yes im working towards being fitter and comparatively lighter but what to do im still a hard core foodie.. with the ginormous sweet tooth.. i dig in and then the weight try digging that out;p... its a vicious circle i tell you... But yes no matter what shape i am.. im happy and comfortable to carry new trends, new looks but not incorporating to make me 'in'.. hey i thought i was always 'in'... I think a sweatshirt compliments me as much as a heavily embossed sari or even a pencil skirt... If i feel good , if im comfortable and happy. it shows... Ladies and gentlemen (oh yes its for you as well). please dont make those blunders of trying to show more than what can be handled;p... when you definitely cannot carry it off.... A fabric cannot change your thinking .. but they can definitely show that you care.. But if it doesnt go well what comes out from your vocal cords.. well they arent adding to anything...

 

I just came across this interesting quote by Hari Menon( photographer)-  'When people ask what equipment i use- i tell them my eyes'. Like photography appeals depending whats captured, what's focused and not focused and the emotion.. similarly any fashion, casual, business attire has to be carefully chosen.. not by copying but making your own choices, combination and using the most important power to define them.. 'you'..

So indulge and not bulge out to fit in... A happy comfortable person is always in fashion.:)
